Nokia’s scroll OLED laptop is a show stopper!
Nokia’s concept laptop with a scroll type OLED makes me swoon! We all know that OLED’s offer bright and extremely colorful images. With a wide viewing angle, low power and high contrast ratio, viewing things on the laptop will certainly become more fun. Kudos to designer Rodrigo Mercado for coming up with such a fantastic concept. The voice activated laptop along with scrolling OLED and additional features like inbuilt Skye and several other popular cell phone functions make this device irresistible! Unlike LCD’s, OLED’s don’t need back lights, and the fast response times make them ideal for viewing movies. Movie viewing on a laptop will never be the same again if this concept by Rodrigo comes to life.
Now Laptop Style Books
After television, computers and so many other gadgets, it is time for books now to look like laptops which will have all essential features of a computer, with a fictional design from Kyle Bean. Though the percentage of people who read books is decreasing by the day, there are still men and women who believe reading a book is far better than browsing it over in the pages of websites or for that matter, even e-books. The feel of the book, while reading is very essential, for it helps in directly stimulating thought. Now Kyle Bean’s attempt is precisely in this direction. If the laptop book hits the market, it has all the potential to lure the young minds addicted to computers and may be even the orthodox readers will give it a try. And who knows even the practice of reading may get a boost.
Yet reading a book in all its simplicity-without any digital components- still holds attraction for me and I believe for few others of you too.
